We Welcome You Into Our Life We are a group of your neighbors who come together to share a journey in faith, to celebrate life, to learn, and to sustain each other in times of need through faith in God. We are here to love Christ Jesus, God's Son, who gave his life and rose again to bring new life to all people. We happily invite you to share in the good things that are ours in Jesus Christ. We are here to love one another as God loves us. Our vision is to transform lives through God's love. We are a congregation of some 200 baptized Christian persons, and are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We welcome all to share in our life and faith. We celebrate the diversity of our people, their ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and points of view. We seek to be a family in Christ, listening, understanding, and caring for one another. We are a place where married couples, singles, and families can grow together. We like to look to the Bible and the life and teachings of Jesus to understand it from its historical context and make it relevant in today's world. We're interested in active questioning and discussion in a respectful setting. We Care for God's Creation Our solar-electric system provides a significant portion of our electricity needs. Drought-tolerant landscaping reduces water consumption. Christ the King is a member of Interfaith Power and Light. |
