We encourage anyone interested in joining to participate in a New Member class on what it means to be a follower of Christ in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and specifically at Christ the King. This will be a time to ask questions and talk with staff and members about the life of our church. Once you have completed the New Member classes, you will be welcomed into the family of Christ on a New Member Sunday, through Baptism, by Affirmation of Baptism, or transfer fom another congregation. Are you interested in joining the Christ the King congregation to sopport you in your faith journey? Pastor Warren will offer a series of three New Member classes during the Sunday morning education hour at 9 am. Please let Pastor Warren know if you are interested in attending. We encourage you to come to all three classes. We will hope to shed light on what it means to be a child of God and to be a Lutheran, and we will welcome your questions. |
